GCHRA's Purpose and Objective
Since its beginning in 1935, the Greater Cincinnati
Human Resources Association has developed into a progressive
and professional association which attracts Greater
Cincinnati’s top Human Resource practitioners
into its membership.
Human Resource professionals serve their employers
and the business community in many roles, from benefits
and employment law expertise to leading innovation and
motivation. Ultimately, we are the managers of any company’s
most important resource, human capital.
Because of this complex role, we need as many of our
own resources and support as possible, and GCHRA’s
purpose is to be that resource and support. We strive
to continue to advance the Human Resource profession
through sharing experience and knowledge.
Our Mission is:
- To furnish a medium through which those engaged
in the Human Resources field may exchange ideas
and experiences, to promote and maintain high
standards of performance in the Human Resources
field.
|
- To develop greater recognition of the importance
of the Human Resources function.
|
- To encourage adherence to professional Human
Resources ethics.
|
- To develop and advance understanding of Human
Resources management through education, research,
development, seminars, and similar sources of
information and idea exchange among members.
|
- To serve as a resources for HR and other business
professionals by providing HR information and
solution sources.
