A
Look at Professional Development
GCHRA’s Professional Development Committee (PDC)
provides professional development opportunities to the
membership and HR community. Program initiatives develop
and expand core competencies and skills development
for human resource practitioners or those who have related
HR responsibilities.
Primary initiatives involve the HRCI
Study Group series, The HR Academy, annual recognition
of Chapter members, and co-sponsoring programs with
affiliated organizations.
For more information regarding the PDC, you can contact
the GCHRA Office at 513.554.4747 or email
Fred
Eck or Holly Renfrow, PDC Co-Chairs.

Get Certified
Have you thought about becoming PHR/SPHR Certified?
Have GCHRA help you fulfill that personal and professional
goal.
Each semester (January and August) we offer a 12 week
HRCI
Study Group which is instructed by members who have
already obtained their certification. It is a great
way to prepare for the test, build your confidence,
build relationships, and have some fun while doing it!
For more information, check out the certification
section of this site, email
the GCHRA office, or call 513.554.4747.

Professional Development Committee Awards
Let’s take time to recognize our stars!
The Professional Development Committee has three awards by
which we can recognize those individuals who go above and
beyond to ‘advance the profession and serve the professional".
Think about those GCHRA members who have served as a
mentor, volunteered on a committee or project or as a new
Volunteer stepped up to serve.
Look around, there are a lot of people whom make GCHRA a dynamic
organization supporting SHRM and the local HR community.
Please complete one of the nomination forms below and submit.
It’s painless and takes very little time.
