Our subconscious "reptilian" brain is responsible for impulses, biases, and shortcuts that can undermine our decision making and behavior, making us later ask the question "What was I thinking!?"  Steve Haffner's entertaining program challenges the audience to increase their awareness of these hidden mind blocks, so they can improve their effectiveness in their assessments, relationships, and all of their professional and personal decisions.  As a professional mentalist, Steve is able to bring a captivating WOW factor to the program, highlighting key points with amazing demonstrations of influence, precognition, and "virtual" mind reading.  His program explores those hidden impulses, biases, and shortcuts to perform better, improve productivity, and be more effective in our professional and personal decision making.

Learning Objectives:
>  Learn how to improve assessments such as performance reviews that can be subconsciously unfair and ineffective
>  Recognize the 7 most common workplace fears
>  Learn why the Negativity Bias affects all professionals and how to re-anchor to negate its effects
>  Learn how to improve project estimates by understanding the Planning Fallacy

Steve Haffner is a mentalist, speaker and corporate entertainer on the topic of subconscious influences.  With a degree in Computer Science, he spent 30 years in the corporate world as a systems analyst, project manager and business analyst for companies such as EDS, William M Mercer, and Humana.
He then began his career as an entertainer and mentalist, performing compelling and provocative programs that explore "mind mysteries" such as subliminal influence, virtual mind reading, lie detection, etc.
As a mentalist he has studied how the primitive part of the human mind has hidden effects on decision making. Pulling from the fields of psychology, neuroscience and behavioral economics, Steve’s programs explore how professionals can improve their decision skills, effectiveness, and relationships.
