Rich is a member of the firm's labor and employment practice group. He defends clients in federal and state court litigation arising from claims of wrongful termination and allegations of various forms of protected class discrimination, violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other statutory and common law claims. Rich also defends employers in workers’ compensation court appeals.
Katie is an associate in the Litigation Department, primarily focusing in Labor and Employment litigation and counseling. She has experience in litigation matters involving claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge. Katie also advises clients on employment related issues, such as disciplinary matters, terminations, reasonable accommodations, non-competition agreements, employee handbooks, and other personnel policies and concerns. Katie has experience in Immigration counseling and compliance, including I-9 employment authorization compliance and filing E nonimmigrant visas. Katie also has experience in ERISA and other benefits litigation.
