Governmental Affairs Chair

▪ Act as a liaison between the Schools and GCHRA's Board, reporting issues of importance to the Board.
▪ Identify and communicate projects and guidelines to student chapters and their faculty advisors.

Diversity & Inclusion Chair

The Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association (GCHRA) strives to attract Human Resources professionals who are varied in their experiences and backgrounds. Doing so enables us to obtain multiple viewpoints so that we can best serve the diverse needs of our workforce. Through promotion and education, community service, and networking, we strive to create an inclusive environment where diversity is valued and all members are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness.
We are committed to continuously developing our diversity and inclusion programs and strategies. We will monitor and address challenges, promote awareness, and provide forums and support for Human Resources professionals to exchange insights and grow in their diversity awareness and practice.
▪ Oversee the design and implementation of a Diversity Plan for the Organization.
▪ Act as a resource by communicating information to the Membership, promoting diversity, and publicizing successful examples of diversity by member companies.
▪ Assist in the publication of our monthly digital newsletter.
▪ Manage and contribute to our social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
▪ Develop messaging as needed, consistent with the GCHRA brand.
▪ Contribute articles/blogs of topical interest to fellow HR practitioners!
▪ Prepare the slide deck for Connect & Learn's.
▪ Assist in keeping website up to date.
▪ Post program announcements to various channels.
